There's one thing I love more than cheese, champagne and shoes, and that's business (when all four are combined I'm in LMM heaven). I love collaboration in business, I love results in business, and I love being a woman in business. After 13 years working for other businesses, I decided to bite the bullet and start my own. Three years, many late nights and a lot of networking later and I'm still learning the ins and outs of being a business owner and evolving as a professional businesswoman.
With the business environment rapidly evolving (with yet a long way to go), it's no wonder there's always so much to learn. Which is why it's helpful - if not crucial - to hear the perspectives of leading businesswomen at the forefront of this change across various industries.
In February, The Kelvin Club is hosting a Women in Business Luncheon and panelist discussion with several leading lady pros sharing their experiences, observations and insights as women in business. Facilitated by Jaclyn Lees (Women of Like Minds) and Fiona Triaca (Naked Ambition), the panel will feature Sarah Lyons (COO, Arthur J Gallagher & Co Insurance), Sally Arnold (Director, Creating Encores), and Liza Boston (Co-Founder, Soundhalo) over a two course lunch.
The event presents an ideal opportunity to kick start the professional year, generate business leads and develop relationships to help you advance your career and goals. What better way to rejoice women-power while achieving business outcomes? This occasion will also celebrate the 20 year anniversary of women being admitted as full members to The Kelvin Club - members and guests are invited and welcome.
With any luck we'll be combining all my loves in one lunch - heaven!
