Who doesn't love a good ole day-time road trip, temporarily escaping the busy city life for a breath of fresh air? Well, if you also love your gin, you're in for a treat.
Melbourne's Gin Queen has partnered up with some of our marvelous gin distilleries to offer you a series of gin tour road trips complete with gin tastings, a light lunch AND a private gin bus to take care of the driving.
Kicking off this month, the first tour will head to Four Pillars Distillery where you'll meet distiller, Cameron Mackenzie, learn about their gins, sample their gins, enjoy a light lunch then head back to the bus to return to town. But it's not over there. Once you get back to the city you head to where else but Gin Palace with your Queen for a mini martini made with Four Pillars.
The other tours will visit Loch Brewery & Distillery in September then the Melbourne Gin Company in October (which is not normally open to the public so you really are getting royal treatment).
This could easily be your monthly activity with your gin crew to take you through to late Spring - in fact, anyone who buys all three tours at the same time will go into a draw to win a gin hamper on the third and final tour. Cheers!
But be quick - the bus only seats 23 so get yo'selves organised and hit the road to gin.
