While I was in Sydney for some biz talk last month, I visited the Night Noodle Markets being held as part of the Sydney Good Food Month. The markets were a lot of fun and I had a great time sampling a tasty selection of Asian food from restaurants right across Sydney.
This month, and for the first time, the Night Noodle Markets are also being held in Melbourne as part of The Age Good Food Month - I'm very excited! From the 18th to the 30th of November Alexandra Gardens will come alive with oodles of noodles plus other Asian-inspired food, pop up bars like the Rekorderlig Cider Bar, and a festival atmosphere just in time for summer.
Enjoy food from the likes of Longrain, Mamak, Wonderbao, Gelato Messina, Saigon Sally, and more.
Will Melbourne put on a better show than our northern counterparts? Ok, it's not a competition - but I am looking forward to finding out via pork belly and apple cider on the grassy banks of the Yarra.
