Travelling to Paris and need somewhere to stay? I've spoken before about the different options available when looking for holiday accommodation in Paris, and an apartment or flat is a fantastic way to really experience Paris like a local and fully immerse yourself in the cultural surrounds.
When I was looking at accommodation myself on my own sojourn just a few weeks ago, I came across Cobblestone Paris Rentals on Instagram (Insta has become my standard, go-to research tool for food and stays in different cities!). While I'm a total hotel addict, I like to mix it up with an apartment stay too and like to support local companies in the process.
Cobblestone started the way many things do in Paris; a love affair with the city. Owners Ryan and Jennifer fell for Paris so hard on a holiday in 2004 that by 2006, they'd moved to Paris, acquired an apartment and started Cobblestone to help others experience the magic of their new home town.
With over 20 properties to choose from, right across Paris, there's bound to be something to suit, whether it's for a family holiday, romantic get away, writer's escape or otherwise. All apartments are self-contained with the comforts of home plus additional services to help you make the most of your stay, including transfers, cruises along the Seine, insurance and even photo shoots to professionally capture your perfect Parisian experience.
I stayed with them myself (all in the name of research!) at their Le Secret apartment in Bastille - an area that neighbours the bustling Marais but is slightly quieter and fairly close to the Seine for afternoon river strolls. Le Secret is a charming, one bedroom flat that faces an internal courtyard so it's nice and quiet (see images below). We were checked-in by a lovely greeter to let us in, show us around and answer any questions we had. It was tres simple process, and a very lovely stay. Merci for the hospitality, Jennifer and Ryan!
