For the last week, I've been in Marseille, France, as part of my two month workation where I'm fully indulging in my digital gypsy career choices.
The beautiful thing about travel, for me, is that it provides a whole new perspective of life; of your own, and life in the grander scheme of things. It's such an amazing time to reflect, to adjust, to learn, to grow, to make changes and new promises to yourself. It's a perfect time for remembering what you love and what makes you truly happy.
When you travel somewhere that has this profound effect on you, it's magical.
In Marseille, this intriguing city by the sea, I've been reminded just how much I love, and miss, being near the water. How simply looking out across the waves can take you to an instant state of peace and calm, delivering clarity of mind. I feel very grateful that life has taken me here and I've been able to rediscover just how important it is to me. It's created mental room for new discoveries and lessons, thoughts and directions. It's generated even greater appreciation.
It's so, so easy to get caught up in the race of city life and forget these little things that are actually so massive for your health and wellbeing.
This is a reminder today to think about what makes your soul sing and to make time for that this weekend - and possibly every week after. Your soul will thank you with happiness.
Soulfully yours,
Little Miss Melbourne xoxo
